Whirling Dervish Ceramic Bisque
Whirling Dervish Ceramic Bisque is a decorative ceramic product designed by drawing inspiration from the symbolic whirling dervish figure of the Mevlevi tradition.
Thanks to its flowing tennure (skirt) form and simple figure details, it can be exhibited as a cultural object in bookshelf, console, desk, and showcase arrangements. Its unglazed and porous surface is suitable for underglaze paint, ceramic glaze, tile paint, and acrylic paint applications.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The product is delivered as fired but unglazed ceramic bisque. If a glossy, smooth, and easily cleanable surface is desired, it must be covered with suitable ceramic glazes and refired at the recommended temperature of the products used.

Application and Firing Notes
- Before painting, dust on the surface should be removed with a clean and dry brush.
- The firing temperature should be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- Care should be taken to prevent excessive glaze accumulation in the curved and narrow sections of the figure.
- Thick glaze layers should be avoided so that the details are not obscured.
- When placing in the kiln, it should be ensured that the figure stands balanced, and no glaze should be left on the base section.
Craftsmanship and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, minor differences in dimensions, surface texture, form, and figure details may be seen between products. These differences, which do not affect usage, stem from the natural structure of the product.
TEST RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended to perform a small test before application to see the compatibility of the paint and glaze to be used with the product, the result it will create on curved surfaces, and its firing behavior.
