Our products are carefully fired at 1050°C to achieve the ceramic bisque stage. This firing temperature increases durability and enhances the natural tones of the clay body. Variations in firing duration and temperature may influence the final surface appearance.
Acrylic paints can be used for decorative coloring; however, this method is not suitable for food contact. After acrylic decoration, applying a protective varnish is recommended. Acrylic painting does not require kiln firing and is mainly intended for decorative use.
Bisque products produced through casting or wheel forming techniques may show minor variations in thickness, dimensions, and tone. These variations reflect the handcrafted nature of ceramic production and give each piece a unique character.
The type of clay used may also create natural color variations. White clay generally produces lighter bisque tones, while red clay results in darker and warmer shades.
Glazing and firing processes significantly increase the durability of ceramic products. Decorative surfaces painted with acrylic paint may wear over time and are recommended primarily for decorative use.
