Verona Mug Ceramic Bisque is an unglazed ceramic bisque product designed for beverage serving, painting, and personalized design projects, featuring a generous capacity, curved body, and well-balanced handle.
Its smooth outer surface provides a suitable workspace for underglazes, ceramic glazes, ceramic paints, lettering, landscapes, figurative designs, and color transitions. With its 400 ml capacity, it is suitable for serving large portions of hot and cold beverages.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The product is supplied as fired but unglazed ceramic bisque. To make it suitable for drinking, the inner surface, rim, and all areas that may come into contact with food must be coated with food-safe ceramic glazes and refired at the recommended temperature of the glaze used.

- Before painting, dust on the surface must be removed with a clean, dry brush.
- The firing temperature must be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- The inner surface, rim, and all food-contact areas must be glazed completely and evenly.
- Care must be taken to prevent excessive glaze buildup around the handle joints and body curves.
- The base must be kept free of glaze when the product is placed in the kiln.
- After firing, the glazed surface must be inspected for cracks, pinholes, sharp edges, and uncoated areas.
- The handle joints must be visually inspected for stability before use.
FOOD CONTACT WARNING: Glazing the product alone does not make it suitable for beverage use. Only glazes specified by their manufacturers as suitable for food contact must be used, and all contact surfaces must be carefully inspected after correct application and firing.
Usage and Cleaning Notes
- Sudden temperature changes may cause ceramic products to crack, so the product must be protected from thermal shock.
- Suitability for dishwasher and microwave use depends on the technical specifications of the applied glaze and firing schedule.
- The rim, inner surface, and handle joints must be inspected before use.
- Products finished with acrylic paint or decorative varnish must not be soaked in water or washed.
Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations may occur between products in terms of dimensions, weight, surface texture, color tone, handle structure, and shape. These variations do not affect use and result from the product’s natural manufacturing process.
TEST RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended to perform a small test before application to check the compatibility of the selected paint and glaze with the product, the result they produce on the surface, and their firing behavior.
