6135 Aqua Green Underglaze Powder Pigment

Underglaze Powder Pigment is a powdered pigment used for coloring in ceramic and tile applications. It can be mixed with clear glazes to prepare colored glazes or used for coloring clay bodies.

Application

  • The pigment can be added to clear glaze according to the desired color tone to prepare a colored glaze.
  • As a starting point, adding at least 10% pigment to the clear glaze is recommended. This ratio can be adjusted according to the desired color tone.
  • The mixture should be thoroughly mixed until homogeneous.
  • It can be mixed into the clay body to prepare colored clay.
  • The prepared glaze can be applied by brush, dipping, or spray gun.
Important: This product is not a ready-to-use underglaze paint on its own. To prepare an underglaze paint, a suitable recipe must be formulated and mixed with the required additional raw materials.
Application Note: The pigment ratio, glaze or clay body used, and firing temperature may affect the final color. Testing on a small surface is recommended before batch application.
