IMPORTANT NOTE: The products are supplied as fired but unglazed ceramic bisque. To make them suitable for food storage, their inner surfaces and all areas that may come into contact with food must be completely coated with food-safe ceramic glazes and refired at the recommended temperature of the glaze used.

- Care must be taken to prevent excessive glaze buildup on the contact surfaces between the lids and bodies.
- The inner surfaces must be inspected to ensure that they are free from unglazed areas, cracks, pinholes, or insufficient coverage.
- When placed in the kiln, the areas of the bodies and lids that come into contact with the kiln shelf must be kept free of glaze.
- After firing, the fit of each lid on its corresponding body and its ability to open and close smoothly must be checked.
FOOD CONTACT WARNING: Glazing the products alone does not make them suitable for food use. Only glazes specified by their manufacturers as suitable for food contact must be used, and all contact surfaces must be carefully inspected after correct application and firing.
Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations may occur between products in terms of dimensions, weight, lid fit, surface texture, color tone, and shape. These variations do not affect use and result from the products’ natural manufacturing process.
