Traditional Teapot Set Ceramic Bisque (2 Pieces)

The Traditional Teapot Set Ceramic Bisque consists of a classic two-tier design featuring an upper teapot for brewing and a larger lower kettle. This high-quality ceramic set provides a smooth, unglazed surface perfect for detailed underglaze painting, creative glazing, or traditional "Çini" artisanal motifs. Once finished, it becomes a beautiful and functional centerpiece for authentic tea rituals.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This set is delivered in bisque (unglazed) form. To make these pieces food-safe, waterproof, and heat-resistant for brewing and serving hot tea, professional glazing and kiln firing are mandatory.

Technical Details and Application

Painting and Glazing

Refsan underglaze ready-to-use paints are highly compatible with this teapot set. For functional use, ensure a lead-free, non-porous glazed finish is applied to ensure the set is hygienic and durable for stovetop or serving use.

  • Ceramic Firing: Fire between 1040°C and 1050°C for a professional, high-gloss finish.
  • Tile (Çini) Firing: Traditional tile glazes maturing at 900°C – 920°C are perfect for showcasing refined artisanal patterns.

Decorative Use with Acrylic Paint

  • Suitable only for display-oriented decorative projects (no kiln firing required).
  • Safety Warning: Items finished with acrylics are not food-safe. Do not use for brewing tea if finished with acrylic paint.

Craftsmanship & Handcrafted Variations

Fired at 1050°C to reach its sturdy bisque state, each Teapot Set reflects the unique hallmarks of artisanal production. Natural variations in thickness, size, or clay tone are characteristics of authentic handcrafted pottery.

Firing Safety & Guidelines

  • Surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned of dust and dried before applying glaze.
  • Strictly follow the temperature requirements of the specific glaze type used.
  • Performing a test fire is suggested to observe how kiln atmosphere influences the final bisque color.
