ADET
The Toronto Mug is a classic ceramic mug form designed for glazing, underglaze decoration, and creative ceramic projects. With its balanced proportions and smooth bisque surface, it provides an excellent base for painting and glazing applications in both studio and workshop environments.
Our products are carefully fired at 1050°C to achieve the bisque stage. This firing temperature improves structural strength and defines the natural tone of the ceramic body. Variations in firing schedules and temperatures may influence the final surface appearance.
Bisque ceramic products produced by slip casting or wheel forming may show slight differences in thickness and dimensions. Structural variations may occur depending on the casting process, reflecting the handcrafted nature of each piece.
Different clay bodies may result in natural tone variations. White clay typically produces lighter bisque tones, while red clay bodies create darker and warmer tones.
After glazing and firing, ceramic products become durable and resistant to everyday use. However, care requirements may vary depending on the finishing method used. Decorative acrylic finishes may gradually wear over time compared to glazed ceramic surfaces.
