The Tart Baking Dish Ceramic Bisque is designed for clean presentations and creative ceramic studio work. Delivered in bisque form, it features a smooth surface suitable for underglaze painting and glazing. After proper glazing and firing, it can be used for food serving and baking presentations.
These proportions provide a stable base and comfortable handling during glazing, painting, and workshop applications.
Our products are carefully fired at 1050°C to reach the bisque stage. This firing temperature increases durability and enhances the clarity of the body color. Different firing temperatures and soaking times may affect the surface characteristics and overall appearance.
In bisque products produced by casting or wheel throwing, minor differences in thickness and dimensions may occur. In casting, thinner or thicker areas can form depending on the structural properties of the piece. These variations reflect the uniqueness of each item and the natural effect of craftsmanship.
Different clay bodies can also create natural tone differences. The color of ceramic and tile bisque may vary depending on the type of clay used. For example, white clay produces lighter bisque tones, while red clay results in darker and warmer tones.
Our products become durable after glazing and firing. However, care and usage conditions may vary depending on the application. Ceramic items are generally more resistant to external factors but still require careful handling. Decorative finishes made with acrylic paint may wear over time.
