IMPORTANT NOTE: The product is supplied as fired but unglazed ceramic bisque. To make it suitable for food contact, its inner and outer surfaces must be coated with food-safe ceramic glazes and refired at the recommended temperature of the glaze used.

Application and Firing Notes
- Before painting, dust on the surface must be removed with a clean, dry brush.
- The firing temperature must be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- Care must be taken to ensure that the food-contact inner surface is free from unglazed areas, cracks, and pinholes.
- Excessive glaze buildup must be avoided around the joint between the foot and the body.
- When placed in the kiln, the bottom of the foot and all areas that come into contact with the kiln shelf must be kept free of glaze.
- After firing, the product’s stability, surface integrity, and glaze coverage must be inspected.
FOOD CONTACT WARNING: Glazing the product alone does not make it suitable for food use. Only glazes specified by their manufacturers as suitable for food contact must be used, and all contact surfaces must be inspected after correct application and firing.
Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations may occur between products in terms of dimensions, surface texture, color tone, foot structure, and shape. These variations do not affect use and result from the product’s natural manufacturing process.
TEST RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended to perform a small test before application to check the compatibility of the selected paint and glaze with the product, the result they produce on the surface, and their firing behavior.
