Application Notes

  • Reactive character: Pastel turquoise tones intensify in recessed areas, while the glaze becomes thinner across edges and raised details, creating lighter, creamy transitions.
  • Brush application: Three coats are recommended for a saturated, silky surface. Allow the surface to dry completely between coats and apply each coat in a different direction.
  • Clay body selection: Colors appear cleaner and fresher on white high-fire clay bodies. Speckled or grogged clay bodies may produce more rustic and dynamic results.
  • Dipping and pouring: Add 5-10% water depending on the required application consistency. Add water gradually and carefully.
  • Mixing: Mix the product thoroughly before application to distribute the reactive components evenly.
Important Recommendation: The appearance of reactive glazes may vary depending on the application thickness, clay body, kiln atmosphere, and cooling rate. Testing on a sample tile is recommended before the main application.
