Depending on application thickness, turquoise transitions of varying intensity, dark blue speckles, and lighter areas may develop across the surface. Application and Salda Effect Notes

• Speckled character: The density, size, and distribution of the turquoise and dark-colored speckles may vary depending on application thickness and firing conditions.
• Brush application: Applying 3 coats is recommended for a rich, balanced surface. Allow the surface to dry completely between coats and apply each coat in a different direction.
• Mixing: Mix the product thoroughly before application to distribute the speckle-forming and color-producing components evenly across the surface. Stir again at regular intervals during application.
• Clay body selection: Turquoise and blue transitions appear cleaner and more vivid on white high-fire clay bodies. Speckled, grogged, or dark clay bodies may produce more rustic surfaces.
