Single-Candle Holder Ceramic Bisque
Single-Candle Holder Ceramic Bisque is an unglazed ceramic bisque product designed for painting, glazing, and personalized decoration projects, featuring a slender curved body, stable base, and single candle socket.
Its body surface provides a suitable application area for underglaze paints, ceramic glazes, ceramic paints, vertical patterns, geometric motifs, botanical decorations, and color transitions. Once completed, it can be used in table arrangements, decorative candle holder sets, or as a standalone decorative object.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The product is supplied as fired but unglazed ceramic bisque. Before using it with a lit candle, it must be coated with suitable ceramic glazes and fired again at the temperature recommended for the glaze used. The product’s heat resistance depends on the clay body, glaze, application thickness, firing program, and conditions of use.

DECORATIVE USE WARNING: Candles must not be lit in products decorated with acrylic paint or decorative varnish, and the product must not be exposed to an open flame or direct heat. A candle holder completed using this method should only be used as a decorative object.
Application and Firing Notes
- Before painting, remove surface dust with a clean, dry brush.
- The firing temperature should be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- Care should be taken to prevent excessive glaze from accumulating inside the candle socket, narrow sections, body curves, and around the base.
- Applying a thick layer of glaze inside the candle socket may reduce its inner diameter, so the glaze should be applied carefully.
- The base must be left unglazed when placing the product in the kiln.
- The product should be placed flat and securely on the kiln shelf.
- After firing, check the surface for cracks, pinholes, glaze runs, sharp edges, or uncoated areas.
- The dimensions of the candle socket should be checked again after glazing.
CANDLE COMPATIBILITY WARNING: The base diameter of the candle should be compared with the 2.5 cm inner opening. The candle must not be forced into the socket, fit loosely, or stand at an angle, and it must be positioned securely upright.
Safe Use and Cleaning Notes
- The candle holder should only be used on a flat, stable, heat-resistant, and non-flammable surface.
- A burning candle must never be left unattended and should be kept away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
- The candle flame must not be allowed to come into direct contact with the ceramic body or decorative coating.
- The candle holder must not be moved while in use or before it has cooled completely.
- Candles must not be lit in products that are cracked, broken, unstable, or have a damaged glaze surface.
- Hardened wax residue should not be scraped away with sharp metal tools; a soft cloth or sponge should be used.
- Do not allow cold water to come into contact with the hot product, and avoid sudden temperature changes.
Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations in dimensions, weight, surface texture, color tone, candle socket diameter, and form may occur between products. These differences do not affect use and are a natural result of the production process.
TEST RECOMMENDATION: A small test application is recommended before use to check the compatibility of the paint and glaze with the product, the result they produce on the curved surface, and their firing behavior. Before using it with a lit candle, the product should be tested briefly under supervision using a candle of the correct diameter.
