Application and Tiger Effect Notes

• Reactive character: The distribution of the amber, dark brown, and black tones may vary depending on application thickness and firing conditions. Different lines and mottled transitions may develop on every piece.
• Brush application: For a saturated and layered surface, applying 3 coats is recommended. Allow the surface to dry completely between coats and apply each coat in a different direction.
• Mixing: Mix the product thoroughly before application to distribute the reactive components evenly across the surface. Stir again at regular intervals during application.
• Clay body selection: Amber and dark-colored transitions appear more distinct on white high-fire clay bodies. Speckled, grogged, or dark-colored clay bodies may produce more rustic surfaces.
