Depending on the application thickness, the surface may develop light pastel areas, richer color concentrations and dynamic tonal variations. It produces vibrant and distinctive surfaces on modern tableware, decorative forms and colorful designs.

Application and Flamingo Effect Notes

• Multilayered character: The distribution of pink, coral and cream tones may vary depending on the application thickness, clay body and firing conditions.
• Brush application: Three coats are recommended for a rich and balanced surface. Allow each coat to dry completely and apply every coat in a different direction.
• Clay selection: Pastel and coral tones appear cleaner on white and light-colored high-fire clay bodies. Speckled, grogged or dark clay bodies may produce more muted and rustic surfaces.
• Application thickness: Thicker applications may intensify the colors and multilayered effect. Lighter tones may appear on edges and raised areas where the glaze is applied more thinly.
• Mixing: Mix the product thoroughly before application to distribute the color- and effect-producing components evenly. Continue mixing periodically during application.
• Dipping and pouring: Depending on the required consistency, 5-10% water may be added. Add water gradually and in a controlled manner.
