Application Notes

• Brush Application: To achieve the characteristic sky effect and artistic color transitions, applying 3 coats over a white clay body is recommended. Allow the surface to dry completely between coats and apply each coat in a different direction.
• Clay body selection: Blue tones appear brighter, clearer, and more pronounced on white clay bodies. The color depth and mottled character may vary on red, dark, or grogged clay bodies.
• Application thickness: Variations in coat thickness may create dark blue pooling, hazy transitions, and variable surface effects. With excessively thick applications, the glaze may move on vertical surfaces.
• Consistency adjustment: The product is ready to use for brush application. For dipping or spray methods, add 5-10% water gradually and in a controlled manner to achieve the appropriate flow consistency.
