Application and Firing Notes
- Before painting, dust on the surface of each piece should be removed with a clean, dry brush.
- The firing temperature must be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- Care should be taken to prevent excessive glaze buildup on the inner base, around the rim, and along the elongated body transitions.
- The bases must be kept free of glaze, and each piece must be placed separately, flat, and securely on the kiln shelf.
- Sufficient space must be left between the pieces to prevent damage from glaze runs, and the products must not touch one another.
FOOD CONTACT WARNING: The glaze used must be suitable for food contact and applied according to the firing schedule specified by its manufacturer. After firing, the surfaces must be inspected for cracks, glaze flaking, pinholes, and sharp edges before the products are used for serving food.
Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations may occur between the pieces in the set in terms of dimensions, thickness, surface texture, and shape. These variations do not affect use and result from the natural characteristics of the products.
TEST RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended to perform a test on one piece before applying the products to the entire set to check the compatibility of the selected paint and glaze with the ceramic surface, their color and flow behavior on the elongated surface, and the final firing result.
