Application Notes

  • Mixing: Reactive particles may settle at the bottom during storage, so the product should be mixed thoroughly before application and regularly throughout use.
  • Brush Application: Applying the glaze in 2 or 3 coats is recommended to achieve an opaque white base with a pronounced speckled effect.
  • Drying between coats: Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next to prevent uneven thickness across the surface.
  • Clay body effect: Mint and turquoise particles appear clearer on white clay bodies, while contrast and effect intensity may vary on different clay bodies.
  • Dipping application: Keep the mixture agitated to ensure even distribution of the particles across the surface, and test the application consistency beforehand.
  • Spray application: Check the compatibility of the particle size with the spraying equipment and use an appropriate nozzle size.
  • Storage: Keep the product in its sealed container, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Thoroughly disperse any sediment that has settled at the bottom before use.
Important Recommendation: Speckle distribution, reactive blooming effects, and glaze movement on vertical surfaces may vary depending on application thickness, clay body, and firing schedule. Preparing test tiles to be fired in both horizontal and vertical positions is recommended before proceeding with the final application.
