S 2065 Sahlep is a glossy artistic effect glaze that brings the creamy tones of warm sahlep and the appearance of finely sprinkled cinnamon particles to pottery forms. Application Notes

• Brush Application: To achieve the opaque cream base and balanced micro-speckle distribution, applying 3 coats over a white clay body is recommended. Allow the surface to dry completely between coats and apply each coat in a different direction.
• Clay body selection: The Sahlep tone appears cleaner, lighter, and more balanced on white clay bodies. On red, dark, or grogged clay bodies, the base tone and contrast of the dark particles may vary.
• Particle distribution: Mix the product regularly before and during application to ensure even distribution of the micro-effect particles across the surface. Do not allow the particles to accumulate at the bottom of the container.
• Consistency adjustment: The product is ready to use for brush application. For dipping or spray methods, add 5-10% water gradually and in a controlled manner to achieve the appropriate flow consistency.
• Application thickness: Variations in coat thickness may affect the opacity of the cream base and the density of the speckles. With excessively thick applications, the glaze may move on vertical surfaces.
