Application Notes

• Glaze application: Apply the product at a balanced, even thickness to a clean, dry, and dust-free bisque-fired surface.
• Kiln removal: Once the glaze has matured, remove the piece from the kiln between 900°C and 1000°C using suitable Raku equipment.
• Reduction process: Place the hot piece in a metal container filled with sawdust or another suitable combustible material, then close the lid.
• Surface effect: The reduction atmosphere may affect the depth of the cobalt blue tones and the appearance of the metallic reflections.
