Rio Mug Ceramic Bisque features a curved body that widens from the base toward the rim and is designed as a handled ceramic form for personalized mug projects. Its unglazed, porous surface is suitable for underglaze paints, ceramic paints, ceramic glazes, and various decorative applications.

With its 220 ml capacity, the mug can be personalized with tropical patterns, vibrant color transitions, geometric lines, botanical motifs, lettering, and modern illustrations. Its upward-widening body allows wraparound patterns to continue in gradually changing proportions.

Application and Firing Notes

• Before painting, remove surface dust with a clean, dry brush.

• The inner surface, rim, and areas that will come into contact with food must be glazed evenly and without gaps.
• Care should be taken to prevent excessive glaze from accumulating around the handle attachments, body transitions, and base.
• When using the dipping method, the glaze thickness should be controlled across the surface due to the narrow base and wide rim.
• The base must be left unglazed when placing the product in the kiln.
• The product should be positioned securely inside the kiln without touching other pieces.

• Sudden temperature changes may increase the risk of cracking, so the product should be protected from thermal shock.

Boxed Delivery and Handling Notes

• The product is supplied in a special box.
• Sharp tools that may damage the ceramic surface should be used carefully when opening the box.
• When removing the product from the box, do not hold it only by the handle; support it from the body and base.
• If the product will be repacked after painting and firing, make sure it is completely cool and dry.
• The special box does not make the product completely resistant to impact or breakage.

Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations in dimensions, capacity, weight, surface texture, body curvature, color tone, and handle attachments may occur between products. These differences do not affect use and are a natural result of the product’s structure and production process.
