Round Finishing Sponge is a yellow round sponge used for surface refinement, edge smoothing, and finishing on ceramics, ceramic tiles, grogged clay, and other clay-based products.
It can be used to remove casting and joining marks, refine surfaces, and smooth edges on ceramic products. It helps smooth minor surface imperfections before bisque firing.
Lightly dampen the sponge and use it with controlled movements over the surface to be finished. When working on clay surfaces, excessive pressure should be avoided to prevent deformation of the form.
In addition to ceramic work, it can be used for surface dampening or light cleaning in hobby, craft, and model-making applications.
