This professional plaster mold is specifically engineered for plate production using the jiggering (template lathe) method or manual slab forming. Unlike casting molds, this tool is designed to provide a solid base for shaping clay, ensuring perfectly symmetrical and professional results for ceramic and tile artists.

• Designed to be mounted on a lathe for precise shaping with a profile template.
• Note: This mold is NOT suitable for slip casting (liquid clay).

• Can be used as a hump/slump mold on a flat workbench for manual slab building and hand shaping.

To ensure the longevity of the plaster and the quality of your ceramic pieces, please follow these maintenance steps:

• New Molds: If the mold arrives wet, wait 1 to 2 days for it to dry naturally before use.
• Maintenance: Using the mold at the correct moisture level ensures the best results for your bisque production.
