Peacock M2 Plaque Ceramic Bisque

The Peacock M2 Plaque Ceramic Bisque showcases the elegant and majestic silhouette of a peacock, a symbol of beauty and integrity. Crafted using the plaque (tabtab) technique, this piece is flat-backed, making it a perfect choice for creating custom magnets, artistic wall panels, or exotic door ornaments.

WHAT IS A PLAQUE (TABTAB)? This product is created by compressing clay into specialized female molds. Because the back surface is completely flat, it is specifically designed for mounting on various surfaces for DIY craft, tiling, and home decor projects.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This product is delivered in bisque (unglazed) form. To bring out the vibrant "peacock" colors and ensure structural durability, professional glazing and kiln firing are mandatory.

Painting and Glazing

Refsan underglaze ready-to-use paints are highly compatible with this peacock plaque. A professional glazed finish will highlight the intricate feather textures while providing a protective, high-quality surface.

  • Ceramic Application: Fire between 1040°C and 1050°C for a professional, high-gloss finish.
  • Tile (Çini) Application: Traditional tile glazes maturing at 900°C – 920°C are ideal for showcasing refined artisanal patterns.

Decorative Use with Acrylic Paint

  • Suitable only for display-oriented decorative projects (no kiln firing required).
  • Safety Warning: Items finished with acrylics are not food-safe. A protective varnish is recommended after acrylic application to keep the design vibrant and clean.
