Our products are carefully fired at 1050°C to achieve the ceramic bisque stage. The firing temperature improves durability and enhances the natural tone of the clay body. Variations in firing temperature and duration may slightly influence the final surface appearance.
Acrylic paints can be used for decorative painting; however, this process is not suitable for food contact. It is recommended to apply a protective varnish after acrylic painting. Acrylic decoration does not require kiln firing and is intended for decorative use.
Bisque products produced by casting or wheel forming techniques may show minor variations in thickness, dimensions, and tone. These variations reflect the handcrafted nature of ceramic production and give each piece a unique character.
The use of different clay bodies may also cause natural color variations. White clay generally produces lighter bisque tones, while red clay creates darker and warmer shades.
Glazing and firing significantly increase the durability of ceramic products. Decorative surfaces painted with acrylic paint may wear over time and are recommended primarily for decorative use.
