OZZ GLAZE - Glaze Flux

OZZ GLAZE Glaze Flux is a professional auxiliary product that increases the fluidity of your ceramic glazes by activating their chemical structure, creating artistic and organic halos on the surface. As can be seen in the examples in the image_525781.jpg file, when Glaze Flux is combined with different glazes (for instance, in combinations with Cave glaze), it expands the movement area of the glaze and provides deep color transitions.

Usage and Application Guide

• Brush Application: Apply 1-2 coats with a brush over your preferred base glaze. With this method, you can create controlled running effects on specific areas of the glaze.
• Activation Effect: By applying it over different glazes, you can activate the glaze and completely alter the character of a standard glaze to achieve a special effect surface.
• Spray and Dipping: For these methods, 10-20% water should be added to the product, and the mixture must be stirred very well to become completely homogeneous.

Important Warnings

Glaze Flux is inherently a product that provides high fluidity. To prevent the product from running off onto the lower sections of the object or the kiln shelf during firing, a controlled application is recommended, and preferring thinner layers especially on the foot and lower sections of the piece is advised. The application thickness will vary depending on the kiln regime in your studio environment and the structure of the base glaze you use.
