Oval Baking Dish Ceramic Bisque is a functional ceramic piece distinguished by its spacious interior, handles on both sides, and ribbed outer surface.
Its wide inner surface is suitable for central motifs, lettering, borders, and freehand brushwork. Its unglazed and porous structure is suitable for underglaze, ceramic glaze, ceramic paint, and acrylic paint applications.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The product is supplied as fired but unglazed ceramic bisque. To make it suitable for serving food, the surface must be coated with food-safe ceramic glazes and refired at the recommended temperature of the products used.

Application and Firing Notes
- Before painting, dust on the surface should be removed with a clean, dry brush.
- The firing temperature must be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- Care should be taken to prevent excessive glaze buildup on the inner base, around the rim, over the ribbed surface, and at the handle joints.
- The base must be kept free of glaze, the product must be positioned flat in the kiln, and the handles must not touch surrounding pieces.
- All surfaces that may come into contact with food must be completely coated with suitable ceramic glazes if the product will be used for serving.
FOOD CONTACT WARNING: The glaze used must be suitable for food contact and applied according to the firing schedule specified by its manufacturer. After firing, the surface must be inspected for cracks, glaze flaking, pinholes, and sharp edges before the product is used for serving food.
OVEN USE WARNING: Glazing the product alone does not guarantee that it is suitable for cooking food in a domestic oven. The resistance of the ceramic body and glaze to heat and thermal shock must be verified through controlled testing. A cold product must not be placed in a hot oven, and a hot product must not be placed on a cold or wet surface.
Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations may occur between products in terms of dimensions, thickness, surface texture, oval body shape, ribbing, and handle details. These variations do not affect use and result from the natural characteristics of the product.
TEST RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended to perform a small test before application to check the compatibility of the selected paint and glaze with the ceramic surface, their color and flow behavior across the wide surface, and the final firing result.
