Color Pairing Suggestions

The soft, calming character of Matte Lilac glaze can be paired with the following tones:

Application Notes

• Brush application: Applying 3 coats over a white low-fire clay body is recommended to achieve a smooth, rich, and velvety matte-lilac surface.
• Coat application: Apply each coat in a different direction to reduce brush marks and allow the surface to dry completely before applying the next coat.
• Matte character: Application thickness may affect the matte level, opacity, and intensity of the lilac tone.
• Clay body selection: White low-fire clay bodies produce cleaner, more pastel lilac tones. Dark or grogged clay bodies may create a more rustic, substantial appearance.
• Dipping and spraying: The product may be too thick for these application methods. Add water gradually and in a controlled manner to achieve the required flow.
