The Plaster Mold Rubber Band is a flexible mold band used to hold and secure multi-part plaster molds together during ceramic slip casting. The thin model is supplied in a pack of 10 pieces.
It is used to help the sections of plaster molds used in ceramic slip casting fit tightly together and keep the mold closed during casting.
The mold rubber band is placed around the assembled plaster mold to secure the mold sections together. Using 2 mold rubber bands is recommended to help reduce the risk of clay slip leaking through the mold joints during casting.
