Master Bowl Ceramic Bisque
Master Bowl Ceramic Bisque is a ceramic bowl offering a classic appearance with its outward-flaring rim and vertical fluting extending along the body.
Its plain interior and rhythmically fluted exterior allow two different decorative approaches to be applied to the same product. Its unglazed and porous surface is suitable for underglaze colors, ceramic glazes, tile paints, and acrylic paints.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The product is supplied as fired but unglazed ceramic bisque. To make it suitable for food contact, the interior and exterior surfaces must be coated with food-safe ceramic glazes and refired at the recommended temperature of the products used.

Application and Firing Notes
- Before painting, remove any dust from the surface with a clean, dry brush.
- If the product is cleaned with a damp sponge, it must be allowed to dry completely before application.
- The firing temperature must be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- Care should be taken to prevent excessive glaze buildup on the interior surface, around the rim, and along the base.
- Thick layers of glaze must be prevented from forming in the grooves between the fluted sections.
- The interior surface intended for food contact must be completely and evenly coated with a suitable glaze.
- The base must be kept free of glaze when placing the product in the kiln.
- The bowl must be placed on a flat, clean, and stable kiln shelf.
- After firing, the surface must be inspected for cracks, glaze flaking, pinholes, and sharp edges.
FOOD USE WARNING: Glazing the product alone does not guarantee that it is suitable for food contact. Glazes specifically identified as food-safe must be used, the correct firing schedule must be followed, and the product must be inspected for surface integrity before use.
Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations in dimensions, weight, thickness, surface texture, bisque color, and fluted body details may occur between products. These variations do not affect use and result from the natural characteristics of the product.
TEST RECOMMENDATION: A small test is recommended before application to check the compatibility of the selected paint and glaze with the product, the result they produce on the fluted surface, and their firing behavior.
