Technical Details and Application

Painting and Glazing

Refsan underglaze ready-to-use paints are highly compatible with this bisque. For pet health, we recommend using lead-free, food-safe glazes to create a non-porous and bacteria-resistant surface.

• Ceramic Application: Fire between 1040°C and 1050°C for a professional, durable finish that is dishwasher safe once fully glazed.
• Tile (Çini) Application: Traditional tile glazes maturing at 900°C – 920°C can also be used for artisanal decorative styles.

Decorative Use with Acrylic Paint

• Suitable only for display-only or purely decorative projects (no kiln firing required).
• Safety Warning: Acrylic-finished bowls are not food-safe. Do not use for feeding or watering pets if finished with acrylics, as the paint can peel and be ingested.
• A protective varnish is recommended post-painting if used for decorative purposes.
