M02 Oil Burner Ceramic Bisque

M02 Oil Burner Ceramic Bisque is an unglazed ceramic bisque product designed for painting, glazing, and personalized decoration projects, featuring a curved body, upper bowl, and candle compartment.

Its body surface provides a suitable application area for underglaze paints, ceramic glazes, ceramic paints, nature-inspired patterns, geometric motifs, symbols, and color transitions. Once completed using the correct materials and firing process, it can be used for aromatherapy and decorative interior arrangements.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The product is supplied as fired but unglazed ceramic bisque. Before using it as a functional oil burner, the upper bowl and surfaces exposed to heat must be coated with suitable ceramic glazes and fired again at the temperature recommended for the glaze used. The product’s heat resistance depends on the clay body, glaze, application thickness, and firing conditions.

DECORATIVE USE WARNING: Candles must not be lit inside products decorated with acrylic paint or decorative varnish, and these products must not be exposed to a heat source. Heat may cause odors, discoloration, softening, or deformation of the paint and varnish layers.

Application and Firing Notes

  • Before painting, remove surface dust with a clean, dry brush.
  • The firing temperature should be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
  • The inner surface of the upper bowl must be glazed evenly and without gaps to make it easy to clean.
  • Care should be taken to prevent excessive glaze from accumulating inside the candle opening, narrow sections, and body curves.
  • The base must be left unglazed when placing the product in the kiln.
  • After firing, check the surface for cracks, pinholes, unglazed areas, or sharp edges.
  • Before active use, the product should undergo a short and controlled heat test under supervision.
HEAT AND FLAME WARNING: The product should only be used on a flat, stable, heat-resistant, and non-flammable surface. A burning candle must never be left unattended and should be kept away from children, pets, and flammable materials.

Usage and Cleaning Notes

  • The upper bowl must not be allowed to run dry, and the water level should be checked regularly during use.
  • Do not touch the hot product, upper bowl, or candle compartment with bare hands.
  • The product must not be moved, refilled, or cleaned until it has cooled completely.
  • Do not allow cold water to come into contact with the hot product, and avoid sudden temperature changes.
  • Oil residue should be cleaned with a soft sponge after the product has cooled.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, metal scouring pads, or hard scrapers.
  • Products with cracks, breakage, or visible damage to the glaze surface must not be used with heat or flame.

Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations

Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations in dimensions, surface texture, color tone, bowl structure, and form may occur between products. These differences do not affect use and are a natural result of the production process.

TEST RECOMMENDATION: A small test application is recommended before use to check the compatibility of the paint and glaze with the product, the result they produce on curved and heat-exposed surfaces, and their firing behavior.
