M01 Oil Burner Ceramic Bisque
M01 Oil Burner Ceramic Bisque is an unglazed ceramic bisque product designed for painting, glazing, and personalized aromatherapy projects, featuring a simple cylindrical body and upper bowl.
The body and bowl surfaces provide a suitable application area for underglaze paints, ceramic glazes, ceramic paints, botanical motifs, geometric patterns, and color transitions. The opening in the body allows a candle to be inserted and helps the candlelight shine outward.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The product is supplied as fired but unglazed ceramic bisque. Before active candle and aromatherapy use, it must be coated with a suitable ceramic glaze, fired again at the temperature recommended for the glaze used, and subjected to a controlled heat test. The product’s suitability for active use depends on the glaze, application thickness, firing program, and conditions of use.

- It can be displayed as a decorative object on a shelf, table, or console without using a candle.
DECORATIVE USE WARNING: Candles must not be lit and essential oils must not be heated in products decorated with acrylic paint or decorative varnish. These products must not be exposed to an open flame or heat source.
Application and Firing Notes
- Before painting, remove surface dust with a clean, dry brush.
- The firing temperature should be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- Care should be taken to prevent excessive glaze from accumulating around the upper bowl, body opening, inner surfaces, and base.
- A thick or uneven glaze layer inside the bowl may affect its surface appearance and heating behavior.
- Excessive glaze around the body opening may reduce its size or cause glaze runs during firing.
- The base must be left unglazed when placing the product in the kiln.
- The product should be placed flat and securely on the kiln shelf without touching surrounding pieces.
- After firing, check the surface for cracks, glaze gaps, sharp edges, or visible deformation.
HEAT USE WARNING: Glazing the product alone does not guarantee that it is suitable for use with a lit candle. The glaze and firing program must be verified, and the first use should be brief, continuously supervised, and conducted on a non-flammable surface.
Candle and Bowl Usage Notes
- The diameter and height of the tealight candle should be compared with the 4.5 cm body opening.
- The candle must not be forced into the product or allowed to touch the body walls.
- The candle flame must not be excessively close to the underside of the upper bowl.
- The upper bowl must not be allowed to run completely dry during active use.
- The candle should be extinguished before the liquid in the bowl evaporates completely.
- Essential oils and other aromatic products should be used in the quantities specified in their instructions.
- Flammable substances or materials unsuitable for oil burners must not be added to the bowl.
Safe Use and Cleaning
- The product should be used on a flat, stable, heat-resistant, and non-flammable surface.
- A burning candle must never be left unattended and should be kept away from children and pets.
- A safe distance should be maintained from curtains, paper, dried flowers, wood, and similar flammable materials.
- The body and upper bowl may become hot during use and must not be touched with bare hands.
- The product must not be moved, cleaned, or brought into contact with water until it has cooled completely.
- Candles must not be lit in products that are cracked, broken, unstable, or have visible damage to the glaze surface.
- Water and aromatic product residue remaining in the bowl should be cleaned with a soft sponge or cloth after the product has cooled.
- Metal scrapers, hard sponges, and abrasive cleaners must not be used.
Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations in dimensions, weight, surface texture, color tone, body opening, and bowl form may occur between products. These differences do not affect use and are a natural result of the production process.
TEST RECOMMENDATION: A small test application is recommended before use to check the compatibility of the paint and glaze with the product, the firing result, and its behavior under heat. Before active use, the product should be tested briefly and under continuous supervision using a suitably sized candle.
