Lotus Planter Ceramic Bisque
Lotus Planter Ceramic Bisque is a ceramic planter distinguished by vertical reliefs resembling lotus petals and decorative details around the rim.
Available in two sizes, large and small, it can be used for succulents, cacti, miniature plants, and decorative arrangements. Its unglazed and porous surface is suitable for underglaze, ceramic glaze, ceramic paint, and acrylic paint applications.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The product is supplied as fired but unglazed ceramic bisque. If it will be used in direct contact with water and moisture, the inner surface must be coated with suitable ceramic glazes and refired at the recommended temperature of the products used. The planter must also be tested for water leakage before use.

DECORATIVE USE WARNING: Planters finished with acrylic paint or decorative varnish must not be watered directly. It is recommended to place the plant in a separate inner pot and protect the painted surface from prolonged exposure to moisture.
Application and Firing Notes
- Before painting, dust on the surface should be removed with a clean, dry brush.
- The firing temperature must be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- Care should be taken to prevent excessive glaze buildup at the joints of the leaf reliefs, around the rim, and on the inner base.
- The base must be kept free of glaze, and the product must be positioned flat when placed in the kiln.
- If planting directly in the product, the drainage hole must be checked. A separate inner pot must be used for products without a drainage hole.
WATER AND MOISTURE WARNING: Glazing the product alone does not guarantee that it will be watertight. The correct glaze and firing schedule must be used, and the product must be tested with water before direct watering.
Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations may occur between products in terms of dimensions, surface texture, shape, and relief details. These variations do not affect use and result from the natural characteristics of the product.
TEST RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended to perform a small test before application to check the compatibility of the selected paint and glaze with the ceramic surface, the result they produce on the relief areas, and their firing behavior.
