Single Large Pomegranate Plaster Mold
A 3-piece plaster casting mold designed for producing decorative and artistic
ceramic objects in the form of a large pomegranate. Its modular structure
preserves the characteristic crown and body details of the pomegranate while
making demolding practical. The mold is suitable for use with ceramic and
porcelain casting slips.

Dimension Information:
The finished product size is measured from the ceramic bisque piece.
Final product dimensions may vary depending on the shrinkage rate of the clay used.
The mold weight may vary by ±%10 depending on its moisture content.
Compatible Clays
The mold is suitable for use with ceramic and porcelain casting slips.
The wall thickness and casting time may vary depending on the characteristics
of the clay used.
The casting slip should preferably be prepared 1 day in advance.
Sodium silicate may be used during preparation when required by the casting slip formulation.
Before casting, the slip should be thoroughly mixed using an electric mixer
or a wooden spoon.
Warning:
Not suitable for stone powder, plaster, concrete, resin, or similar
non-ceramic casting materials.
Usage and Drying
- The inner casting surface should be wiped with a damp sponge before use to remove dust and loose particles.
- The casting slip should be poured slowly and in a controlled manner until the mold is filled to the opening.
- Depending on ventilation and drying conditions, an average of 2–4 castings can be made per day.
- The mold should be allowed to dry sufficiently between castings.
Wet Mold Warning:
The mold may occasionally be shipped while still damp or wet.
In this case, it should be left to
air-dry naturally for 1–2 days
at room temperature in a well-ventilated area before use.
Minor imperfections or deformation may occur on the outer edges or corners
of the mold during transportation. The mold can still be used as long as
the internal casting surface remains clean and smooth and there is no damage
that would affect the finished product or interfere with the casting process.
Mold Lifespan:
Approximately 100 castings on average. This may vary depending on frequency
of use, storage conditions, drying conditions, and method of use.
