- Before painting, dust on the surface should be removed with a clean, dry brush.
- Make sure the product is completely dry before starting the application.
- The firing temperature should be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- Care should be taken to prevent excessive paint or glaze buildup on the dense embossed areas that create the wool texture.
- Excessive glaze buildup should be avoided around the handle joints and on the inner surface.
- No glaze should be left on the base when placing the product in the kiln.
- For products intended for beverage use, the inner surface should be completely coated with a glaze suitable for food contact.
- After firing, the surface should be checked for cracks and watertightness.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE USE WARNING: Glazing the product alone does not guarantee that it is suitable for food contact or watertight. A suitable glaze and the correct firing program should be used, and the product should be tested with water before use.
Handcrafting and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations in dimensions, weight, thickness, surface texture, and embossed details may occur between products. These variations do not affect use and are a natural characteristic of the product.
TEST RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended to perform a small test before application to check the compatibility of the paint and glaze with the product, the resulting finish on the embossed surface, and firing behavior.
