REFSAN LOW-FIRE TRANSPARENT GLAZE (MAJOLICA GLAZE)

*Using for tile and majolica objects

Preparing the Glaze

The measured glaze is being added on the water slowly. (Dry material/Water : 60/40 %)

Should be mixed very well with a fixed mixer if possible.

During the mixing, add cellulose gum very slowly, otherwise, it coagulates. (1 %)

Should be strained with the sieve. 

Set the density for plate like objects Baume 43-44, for vertical objects baume 45-46

Should be prepared just amount of need, because of the cellulose decomposes from the glaze.

Firing Temperature : 900- 920 °C 

Don't forget the order cellulose gum, because, this glaze should be prepared with cellulose.
