Karya Ceramic Bisque Serving Plate
With its oval form and elegant raised details along the edges, the Karya serving plate is a stylish bisque model that suits both classic and modern ceramic designs. Thanks to its wide inner surface, it provides a comfortable working area for patterns, lettering, motifs, and color transitions.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This product is in bisque form. If you want to achieve a permanent, glossy, and usable ceramic surface, glazing and kiln firing are required. If you do not have access to a kiln, you can color it directly with acrylic paints for decorative purposes.

Glazing and Painting
- Underglaze Painting: Patterns, lettering, or motifs can be applied to the inner surface using underglaze paints suitable for tile or ceramic techniques.
- Firing: When ceramic glaze is used, it is generally fired between 1040°C and 1050°C. If you prefer tile glaze, 900°C to 920°C is suitable.
Use with Acrylic Paint
- If kiln firing will not be done, the product can be colored with acrylic paints for decorative purposes.
- After painting is complete, applying spray or liquid varnish is recommended to make the colors look more vibrant and protect the surface.
- Products painted with acrylic paint and varnish are not suitable for food contact; they should be used for decorative purposes.
Usage Ideas
The Karya bisque serving plate can be used for different purposes:

- Decorative Designs: By coloring the raised edge details, it can be turned into a special piece for coffee table, console, or display cabinet decoration.
- Personalized Gift: It can be prepared as a handmade gift alternative with names, dates, special patterns, or concept-based designs.
Production Details and Natural Variations
Our products are delivered in bisque form, fired at 1050°C.
These bisque pieces are produced by casting, and slight variations in thickness, surface texture, or tone may be seen due to handcrafting. These are a natural result of handmade ceramics.
