Footed Jewelry Box Ceramic Bisque is a lidded decorative ceramic painting piece designed for neatly storing jewelry and small items.
It is available in two different shape options: rectangular and hexagonal. Its stepped body structure, short feet, and matching lid create a decorative appearance reminiscent of classic jewelry boxes. Its unglazed and porous surface is suitable for underglazes, ceramic glazes, ceramic paints, and acrylic paints.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The product is supplied as fired but unglazed ceramic bisque. The lid and body are separate pieces. Depending on the selected variation, the product is supplied in either rectangular or hexagonal form.

DECORATIVE USE WARNING: Products decorated with acrylic paint or decorative varnish are suitable only for dry and decorative use. They should not be washed under running water or left in humid environments for extended periods.
Application and Firing Notes
- Before painting, dust on the surface should be removed with a clean, dry brush.
- The firing temperature should be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- The lid and body should be painted separately and placed in the kiln so that they do not touch each other.
- Excessive paint or glaze buildup should be avoided on the lid seating surface.
- The underside of the feet and areas that come into contact with the kiln shelf should be left unglazed.
- If the interior surface is glazed, a smooth and even finish should be achieved to prevent damage to jewelry.
LID FIT WARNING: Applying a thick layer of glaze to the lid seating area may prevent the lid from closing properly. Glaze thickness should be carefully controlled, and the lid and body should be kept separate during firing.
Handcrafting and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations in dimensions, weight, surface texture, lid fit, and foot structure may occur between products. These variations do not affect use and are a natural result of the production process.
TEST RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended to perform a small test before application to check the compatibility of the paint and glaze with the surface, lid movement, and firing results.
