With its elongated horizontal profile and clean, modern lines, the Horizontal Vase is a refined option for decorative styling and workshop projects. Its smooth bisque surface offers an excellent base for painting, underglaze decoration, and glazing applications, making it ideal for both studio work and interior display.
Our products are carefully fired at 1050°C to achieve a stable bisque stage. The firing temperature contributes to strength and defines the base tone of the body. Variations in firing temperature and firing schedules may affect surface characteristics and visual results.
Bisque pieces made by slip casting and wheel forming may show slight differences, especially in thickness and dimensions. In casting, thinner or thicker areas can occur depending on the structure of the form. These variations reflect the uniqueness of each piece and the character of handcraft production.
Using different clay bodies may also lead to natural tone differences. The bisque color of ceramic and tile bodies can vary by clay type. For example, white clay typically produces lighter bisque tones, while red clay provides darker and warmer tones.
Our products become durable after glazing and firing. However, care and usage conditions may vary depending on the finishing method. Ceramic surfaces are generally more resistant to external factors but still require careful handling. Decorative acrylic finishes may wear over time.
