Hittite Vase Ceramic Bisque is an unglazed ceramic bisque product designed for painting, glazing, and personalized decoration projects, featuring a ring-shaped body and distinctive silhouette.

Its surface, formed by inner and outer curves, provides a unique application area for underglaze paints, ceramic glazes, ceramic paints, circular patterns, geometric motifs, and Anatolian-inspired compositions. The four different size options can be displayed together to create a graduated decorative series.

Painting and Usage Options

• Can be colored with underglaze paints, ceramic paints, and ceramic glazes.
• The inner and outer sections of the ring form can be decorated in different colors to create a sense of depth.

• Patterns can continue uninterrupted around the product, or the body can be divided into separate color areas.

Application and Firing Notes

• Before painting, remove surface dust with a clean, dry brush.
• The firing temperature should be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
• Care should be taken to prevent excessive paint or glaze from accumulating in the inner curves and narrow sections of the ring form.
• Glaze should be applied in an even thickness to ensure consistent color and texture across the inner and outer surfaces.
• The base must be left unglazed when placing the product in the kiln.
• For products intended to hold water, the inner chamber must be glazed completely and without gaps.
• Large products in particular should be placed flat and securely in the kiln, with sufficient space left around them.
• After firing, check the surface for cracks, pinholes, sharp edges, or unglazed areas.

Display and Handling Notes

• The product should be displayed on a flat, stable, and balanced surface.
• Large size options in particular should be supported from the body and base when being carried.
• Carrying the product by the central opening is not recommended, as it may increase the risk of cracking or breakage.
• The product should be protected from sudden impacts and temperature changes.

Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations

Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations in dimensions, surface texture, color tone, ring opening, and form may occur between products. These differences do not affect use and are a natural result of the production process.
