Hexagonal Plate Ceramic Bisque is an unglazed ceramic bisque product designed for serving, painting, and personalized decoration projects, featuring a geometric form and broad surface.

Its flat surface and defined corners provide a convenient application area for underglaze paints, ceramic glazes, ceramic paints, geometric patterns, mandala compositions, botanical motifs, and modern illustrations. Available in two sizes, the plates can be used individually or arranged side by side to create a honeycomb pattern.

Painting and Usage Options

• Can be colored with underglaze paints, ceramic paints, and ceramic glazes.

• Each section of the hexagonal form can be decorated with different colors or patterns to emphasize the surface geometry.

Application and Firing Notes

• Before painting, remove surface dust with a clean, dry brush.
• The firing temperature should be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
• The inner surface, edges, and areas that will come into contact with food must be glazed evenly and without gaps.
• Care should be taken to prevent excessive glaze from accumulating around the corners, edge transitions, and base.
• The base must be left unglazed when placing the product in the kiln.
• The plate should be placed evenly on a flat, clean kiln shelf without touching surrounding products.
• After firing, check the glazed surface for cracks, pinholes, sharp edges, or uncoated areas.

Usage and Cleaning Notes

• Before serving food, inspect the inner surface and edges for cracks, pinholes, glaze gaps, and sharp areas.
• Products that are cracked, broken, or have a damaged glaze surface must not be used for serving food.
• Food residue should be cleaned promptly.
• A soft sponge should be used for cleaning. Metal scouring pads, hard scrapers, and abrasive cleaners should be avoided.
• Dishwasher and microwave suitability depends on the technical properties of the glaze and firing program used.
• The product should be protected from sudden temperature changes.
• Products decorated with acrylic paint or decorative varnish must not be soaked in water or washed.

Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations

Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations in dimensions, weight, surface texture, color tone, corner structure, and edge transitions may occur between products. These differences do not affect use and are a natural result of the production process.
