Application and Firing Notes
- Before painting, dust on the surface should be removed with a clean, dry brush.
- Make sure the product is completely dry before starting the application.
- The firing temperature should be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- Care should be taken to prevent excessive paint or glaze buildup in the recessed area of the plate, at the inner point of the heart shape, and along the wavy edges.
- For products intended for food presentation, the inner surface should be completely coated with a glaze suitable for food contact.
- No glaze should be left on the base when placing the product in the kiln.
- During glaze firing, products should not be stacked or placed in contact with one another.
- After firing, the product should be checked for cracks, glaze defects, sharp edges, and unglazed areas.
FOOD USE WARNING: Glazing the product alone does not guarantee that it is suitable for food use. A food-safe glaze and the correct firing program should be used, and the integrity of the glaze surface should be checked before use.
Handcrafting and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations in dimensions, weight, surface texture, heart shape, and edge structure may occur between products. These variations do not affect use and are a natural characteristic of the product.
TEST RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended to perform a small test before application to check the compatibility of the paint and glaze with the product, the resulting finish on the heart shape and wavy edges, and firing behavior.
