GCT 026 Blue is a transparent, high-gloss Ceramingo glaze that brings the vibrant shades of the sky and deep seas to glazed surfaces. Its light-reflective, glass-like finish gives each form a smooth appearance with pronounced depth. Thanks to its transparent color, it produces an especially vibrant, clear and saturated blue shade on white clay bodies.

Application Notes

• Brush application: Apply 3 coats over white clay to achieve a rich and glossy blue appearance. Allow each coat to dry completely and apply successive coats in alternating directions.
• Transparency effect: The transparent formula allows the clay color and surface decoration to influence the final appearance. White clay bodies produce clearer and more vibrant results, while dark-colored clay bodies may create deeper and more variable shades.
• Consistency adjustment: The product is ready to use for brush application. For dipping or spraying, add 5-10% water gradually and in a controlled manner to achieve the appropriate flow.
• Mixing: Stir the product before application and regularly during use to distribute the pigments and glaze components evenly across the surface.
• Application thickness: Thin application may produce a lighter and more transparent appearance, while thicker application may create a richer and deeper blue. Avoid excessively thick application.
