Application Notes

• Glaze application: Apply the product at an even thickness over a clean, dry, and dust-free bisque surface.
• Kiln removal: Once the glaze has matured, remove the piece from the kiln between 900°C and 1000°C using appropriate Raku equipment.
• Reduction process: Place the hot piece in a metal container filled with sawdust or another suitable combustible material, then close the lid. The resulting smoky atmosphere enhances the crackle lines and color transitions across the glazed surface.
• Crackle effect: Crackle intensity may vary depending on application thickness, cooling rate, removal temperature, and reduction conditions.
