Application Notes

• Glaze application: Apply the product at an even and uniform thickness over a clean, dry, and dust-free bisque surface.
• Kiln removal: Once the glaze has matured, remove the piece from the kiln between 900°C and 1000°C using appropriate Raku equipment.
• Reduction process: Place the hot piece in a metal container filled with sawdust or another suitable combustible material, then close the lid.
• Surface effect: The reduction atmosphere may affect the depth of the cobalt-blue tones and the appearance of the metallic reflections.
• Result variability: Blue tones and surface transitions may vary depending on glaze thickness, removal temperature, sawdust density, and reduction time.
