GC 2035 Çoruh - Ceramingo Artistic Low-Fire Glaze

GC 2035 Çoruh is a glossy artistic glaze inspired by the natural and dynamic character of the river from which it takes its name, combining brown and olive green tones. Its natural shading, variegated transitions and pigments that intensify around surface details give each form organic depth.

Food Safe: This glaze is suitable for surfaces that come into contact with food when proper application and firing conditions are followed.

Application Notes

  • Brush application: Apply 3 coats over white clay to achieve the characteristic variegated transitions and surface depth. Allow the surface to dry between coats and apply successive coats in alternating directions.
  • Clay body selection: Colors appear more vibrant and distinct on white clay bodies, while red or grogged clay bodies may produce darker and more rustic results.
  • Dipping and spraying: Depending on the required application consistency, 5-10% water may be added. Add water in a controlled manner and adjust the glaze consistency to suit your application method.
  • Preparation: Mix the product thoroughly before use to distribute the pigments evenly and ensure the artistic texture develops consistently across the surface.
Important Recommendation: The appearance of artistic glazes may vary depending on the application thickness, clay body, kiln firing schedule and cooling conditions. Testing on a sample tile is recommended before the main application, especially to observe glaze flow on vertical forms.
