Application Notes

  • Color character: Yellow tones become more prominent in thinner areas, while blue tones become dominant in thicker applications.
  • Flow: This product is highly fluid. Be aware that the glaze may run toward the base, particularly on vertical and angled forms.
  • Brush application: Applying 3 coats on white bisque is recommended to achieve a result similar to the visual sample. Allow each coat to dry before applying the next one.
  • Spray application and dipping: Add 5-10% water according to the required application consistency. Add water gradually and in a controlled manner.
  • Lower-section control: To reduce the risk of glaze runs, apply a thinner coating near the base and leave a sufficient unglazed area around the lower section.
  • Clay body selection: Yellow and blue transitions appear more vivid on white clay. Different clay colors may alter the tones and effects.
Important Recommendation: The appearance of fluid artistic glazes may vary depending on application thickness, clay body, form angle, and firing schedule. To protect the kiln shelf and assess the degree of flow, testing on a test tile before the main application is recommended, particularly for vertical forms.
