Application Notes

• Brush application: Applying 3 coats over white clay is recommended to enhance the fresh water-green tone and surface depth. Allow the surface to dry between coats.
• Flow control: Due to its fluid character, thick application on vertical surfaces may result in downward movement and natural pooling. To reduce the risk of the glaze running onto the kiln shelf, avoid applying it all the way to the base of the form.
• Effect character: As application thickness increases, color depth, variegation and flow may change. Thinner applications may produce lighter and calmer tones.
• Clay body selection: The color appears brighter and clearer on white clay. The glaze tone and surface character may change on red, grogged or dark-colored clay bodies.
• Dipping and spraying: Depending on the required application consistency, 5-10% water may be added. Add water gradually and in a controlled manner.
• Preparation: Mix the product thoroughly before application to distribute the pigments and glaze components evenly.
