GC 1050 Red Green - Ceramingo Artistic Low-Fire Glaze

GC 1050 Red Green is an artistic glaze characterized by delicate red and pink textures that develop over a pastel mint-green base. The speckled and dynamic appearance created as the colors develop during firing gives pottery forms a modern and distinctive character. Its elegant color balance produces striking results, particularly in pastel-toned, organic and handmade collections.

Food Safe: This glaze is suitable for surfaces that come into contact with food when proper application and firing conditions are followed.

Application Notes

  • Brush application: Applying 3 coats over white clay is recommended to achieve the characteristic red and green speckling. Allow the surface to dry between coats.
  • Effect control: The intensity of the red-pink speckles and the amount of surface movement may change as the number of coats and application thickness increase.
  • Clay body selection: The colors appear brighter and clearer on white clay. The glaze tone and speckled structure may vary on red, black, grogged or dark-colored clay bodies.
  • Dipping and spraying: Depending on the required application consistency, 5-10% water may be added. Add water gradually and in a controlled manner.
  • Preparation: Mix the product thoroughly before application to distribute the pigments and effect particles evenly across the surface.
Important Recommendation: The appearance of artistic glazes may vary depending on application thickness, clay body, kiln atmosphere and firing schedule. Before the main application, testing on a vertical test tile is recommended to evaluate the glaze flow and effect intensity.
