Application Notes

• Brush application: Applying 3 coats over white clay is recommended to achieve a pronounced color and crackle effect. Allow the surface to dry between coats.
• Crackle character: The density and size of the cracks may vary depending on the clay body, application thickness, firing temperature and cooling rate.
• Effect enhancement: After the piece has been completely fired and cooled, ink or contrasting paint may be applied between the cracks. Wiping the surface can make the crackle pattern more visible.
