Funnel Vase Ceramic Bisque
Funnel Vase Ceramic Bisque is an unglazed ceramic bisque product designed for painting, glazing, and personalized decoration projects, featuring a wide base and a conical body that narrows toward the top.
Its smooth outer surface provides a convenient application area for underglaze paints, ceramic glazes, ceramic paints, geometric patterns, wraparound borders, and color transitions. Thanks to its stable base, it can be displayed as a decorative object on shelves, tables, and consoles.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The product is supplied as fired but unglazed ceramic bisque. To make it suitable for holding water, the inner surface must be completely coated with a suitable ceramic glaze, fired again at the temperature recommended for the glaze used, and tested for leaks before use.

Painting and Usage Options

DECORATIVE USE WARNING: Products decorated with acrylic paint or decorative varnish should only be used for dry, decorative purposes. They must not be filled with water or washed under running water.
Application and Firing Notes
- Before painting, remove surface dust with a clean, dry brush.
- The firing temperature should be determined according to the technical specifications of the paint and glaze used.
- Care should be taken to prevent excessive glaze from accumulating around the narrow opening, inner surface, and base.
- Glaze should be applied in an even thickness to ensure consistent color and texture across the conical surface.
- The base must be left unglazed when placing the product in the kiln.
- For products intended to hold water, the inner surface must be glazed completely and without gaps.
- After firing, check the surface for cracks, pinholes, sharp edges, or unglazed areas.
WATER USE WARNING: Glazing the product alone does not guarantee that it will be watertight. The correct glaze and firing program must be used, and the product should be filled with water for a specified period to test for leaks before use.
Handcraftsmanship and Product Variations
Due to the ceramic production process, slight variations in dimensions, capacity, surface texture, color tone, and form may occur between products. These differences do not affect use and are a natural result of the production process.
TEST RECOMMENDATION: A small test application is recommended before use to check the compatibility of the paint and glaze with the product, the result they produce on the conical surface, and their firing behavior.
